Bio
Neil Maguire is working on a small scale organic farm in Prince Edward County, where he also resides. His studio space is located at the historic air base (now Base 31) in Picton, Ontario. By employing found materials and emulating the passage of time through various painting techniques, Neil explores the intersection of labour and art making. Held within those larger ideas are observations of nostalgia and memory. He has completed his Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Drawing and Painting at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in the Spring of 2019.
